This July, Blue Roots Denver and CMDance present a blues music and dance benefit for MusiCares®. MusiCares is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to music professionals in need across the country. For more information, please visit www.musicares.org. Musicians in the blues community in Denver as well as our sponsors such as the Colorado Blues Society, the Mile High Blues Society, Flipside Music, Colorado Accounting Systems, and Daydream Cafe, are working to put this benefit together as a thank you to what MusiCares has done for music professionals in our community.
We invite you to celebrate MusiCares's work, as well as help to raise money for the organization by attending the benefit. A meal with an acoustic blues set will be provided, and then a full band set will play with open dance space available in the upstairs ballroom of the Denver Turnverein.

Event Schedule:
11:00 am- Doors open, silent auction available for bids.
11:30am-12:30pm- Acoustic blues music set with meal served (potentially donated from a sponsor)
12:30-1:00 pm- Band break with announcements/benefit activities/silent auction available for bids.
1:00pm-4:00pm- Full band set and open space for dancing
Event Admission:
$50- Full event: Meal served*, 1 hour acoustic set and social dance with full band, 11:00am-4:00pm ($45- student/senior discount with valid ID)
$30- Acoustic music set and meal only, 11:00am-1:00pm ($25- student/senior discount with valid ID)
$20- Live music, full blues band, open space for dancing, 1pm-4pm ($15- student/senior discount with valid ID)
*80 spots open for meals at the event. Pre-register on EventBrite to ensure your spot!
*Attendees will be able to reserve a table of 4 close to the band for an extra $50 fee.
70% of the proceeds from the benefit will go directly to MusiCares.
